The Northern Suburbs Tennis Association is holding a Gold Series Australian Money Tournament, the Love ‘n Deuce North Shore Open, from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19thDecember, offering a total of $17,000 in prize money across open and special singles and doubles events, making it the largest money tournament in New South Wales outside the Medibank International. It will be held at Talus Street each day and at Tennis Valley on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th. We are also offering an additional $2,000 for novelty events involving players and spectators, such as “Challenge the Champ”, “Fastest Serve” etc.
Due to the prize money and points on offer, we are expecting a large number of entries and therefore will require volunteers to assist with various tasks such as court curators, hostesses, court spotters, barbecuers, water fillers, player support, ball kids, etc, etc.
Any time you could give to assist during the tournament would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers will be required to meet at Talus Street on Sunday 12th December at 3pm for a briefing on allocated tasks. If you are able to help out, we would welcome your response and the time you would be available during the tournament.
